WLK supports Team Rynkeby’s fundraising for Barncancerfonden
Team Rynkeby is cycling to Paris to raise money for Barncancerfonden – WLK is a proud silver sponsor
It is now the 22nd time that Team Rynkeby has cycled to Paris to raise money for children with cancer and their families. WLK has signed a silver sponsorship with the charity cycling team, Team Rynkeby. The sponsorship goes to Barncancerfondens work to exterminate cancer in children. “We think this is a fantastic and heartwarming initiative to create awareness and raise money for Children’s Cancer Research,” says Peder Nordenback, CEO of WLK.

About Team Rynkeby
Team Rynkeby is an international charity project that cycles to Paris every year to raise money for seriously ill children.
The first year, 2002, there were 11 cyclists who cycled. Today, the cycling team consists of more than 2,700 cyclists and 600 service participants distributed among 64 local teams from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Germany, Switzerland and Belgium.
Since 2011, the project in Sweden has donated 265.9 million SEK to seriously ill children. “The majority of the money goes to finance research into childhood cancer. Childhood cancer continues to be the disease that takes the lives of most children between the ages of 1 and 14, and there are far too many children who experience serious side effects from the treatment,” says Paul Chronqvist Svensson, Country Manager for Team Rynkeby Sweden.
Team-Rynkeby Sweden is cycling from Malmö to Paris the 8 – 15 of July 2023. 120 miles in 6 days.
