It\u2019s getting easier and easier to network devices. The Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA) recently introduced Matter, a new protocol that enables various devices connected to each other, such as luminaires, locks, Venetian blinds, loudspeakers, thermostats, etc., to interoperate. Matter will allow users to control the light not only in familiar surroundings but also in an unfamiliar hotel room, for exampl<\/strong>e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matter is an open-source standardized language for connecting smart devices \u2013 it’s designed so that any company can use it to make smart devices, mobile apps and cloud services communicate and work<\/p>\n\n\n\n

seamlessly together. Tridonic will join the big tech industries Apple, Google and Amazon to be at the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

cutting edge of technology with their Matter-ready wireless lighting products. They are already developing modules that will make DALI lighting Matter-compatible. The new modules and drivers will help reaching the goal of using the interoperability of Tridonics products to help partners and customers to create new opportunities.
