Background
Wennerström Ljuskontroll AB (WLK) was founded in 1970 as a partnership under the name Wennerström & Co. Today, more than 45 years later, we are a tech sales company specialised in lighting components and systems solutions for control and monitoring. WLK currently has 21 employees and since July 2017 the company has belonged to Indutrade AB, an international industrial group focused on industrial tech sales. WLK is part of the Industrial Components business area but functions as an independent company with decentralised ownership.

Products & sales
We are Tridonic’s representative in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
Our consolidated sales in the Nordic and Baltic countries amounts to more than SEK 300 million for Tridonic. We are also a reseller for Welight, Lumitech, Bticino, Feno, Ledon and BJB. Read more about our suppliers.
Our customers consist primarily of lighting luminaire manufacturers, electrical wholesalers, electrical contractors and property owners. Our solutions and products are often ordered by Sweden’s leading electrical consultants and lighting designers.
From our seven sales offices in combination with our efficient distribution warehouse in Rosersberg, we can quickly service our customers in the Nordic countries and the Baltics. WLK is a member of the Lighting Industry trade organisation and actively participates in the debate on environmental impact and energy efficiency improvements. We follow and influence the rapid technological developments, where new energy-efficient light sources and energy-saving applications are introduced at a rapid pace.
The future with Internet of Things – IOT
Togheter with Tridonic the new IOT technology is under development and we put a lot of effort for developing and offer technical solutions with added services for operation, maintenance and monitoring. All to give the property owner the right tools to support a good control of their buildings.
The new technology based on IP is not limited to lighting, but opens up for a fantastic platform to access real-time data in buildings.

Charities & nonprofits
The Company has enjoyed good growth and profitability for many years, and Wennerström Ljuskontroll AB currently has the highest credit rating possible. Profits are reinvested, mainly in continued organic growth. With the full support of the staff, the Company has also helped to establish and fund a medical centre in a village with 200 residents in the mountains of Nepal. We also contribute to ambulance donations in various deprived parts of the world. In 2014, work began to build a new health centre in Jaigaon, one of the most deprived areas in India. Because Wennerström Ljuskontroll AB’s operations have continued to show positive development, we have decided to continue providing support for the Kjell Borneland Foundation in the coming years so they can feel secure in their annual financial support from us when completing existing projects and planning new ones.
