Simple lighting control with basicDIM DGC from Tridonic
basicDIM DGC (DALI Group Controller) from Tridonic is a cost-effective controller for lighting adapted for a typical classroom. The controller can be connected to a parent DALI circuit, making it possible to control the room from a central control system.
With two dimmable channels, up to 2×10 DSI/DALI drivers can be controlled with a pushbutton and a sensor for presence, daylight and remote control. There is also a relay output for switching chalkboard/whiteboard lighting on and off with a pushbutton and sensor.
If multiple DGC units are used, they can communicate with each other, and presence detection can be transferred to adjacent units – both individual daylight compensation per unit and joint detection of presence/absence between several units can be achieved.
